COMMENTS & RUMORS BOARD is the original discussion board on DenverRadio.net in a new format. WARNING: If you are easily offended -- do not visit this forum. Due to it's UNCENSORED format, this page may have content that is offensive to some. There is no way to have a free and open discussion board and at the same time screen out all the crap. HOWEVER, we reserve the right to delete or edit posts especially if they jeopardize the safety of an individual and/or have no redeeming value to this site.
THREATS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. The best way to handle offensive messages is to ignore them. The offensive message poster is only trying to draw attention. DenverRadio.net and its owners take no responsibility for the posts. Please do not use someone else's name and/or email address when posting. Enter your comments, your radio industry buzz, fun events, oddities, job changes, gossip, etc., related to radio and the radio industry. Please note that posts cannot be edited by anyone other than the Systems Administrator, so post what you mean, and mean what you post.
DenverRadio.Net is a forum that promotes 1st Amendment freedom in the discussion of radio, the involved companies, and the surrounding industries. Knowing that opinions are plentiful & perceptions are various, we believe that the 1st Amendment provides a covering for free discussion and the exploration of ideas, and we are committed to such at DenverRadio.Net.
However, the 1st Amendment does not allow for an individual to scream "FIRE!" in a crowded movie theater. It also does not allow for unfounded accusations regarding individuals or the like. You can dislike someone's broadcast style, shtick, or even the color of clothes that they wear but there is no forum protected by the 1st Amendment that allows for you to make unsubstantiated claims regarding legal, moral, or ethical behavior. To make such unsubstantiated claims orally to a point of causing damages is slander. To make such unsubstantiated claims in writing to a point of causing damages is libel.
DenverRadio.Net has consulted with our legal counsel regarding these definitions and how they pertain to our Comments & Rumor Discussion Board. We have recently taken some actions per our attorneys' advise which includes removing some posts on the discussion boards of DenverRadio.Net. Many of these deletions contained posts that were threatening in nature to individuals. These actions now (and in the future) are taken only to preserve the sanctity & existence of DenverRadio.Net. We appreciate your understanding. Administrators and moderators have the right to move, delete or modify posts and/or threads as they deem necessary without prior notice, consent or permission from any member.
