Judy! Judy! Judy!
Maybe you saw her in concert when you were in college, but here's your chance to see Denver native Judy Collins from "Both Sides Now" -- this time up
close and personal.
The world-famous singer will visit the Denver Press Club at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, for an upstairs "Book Beat Evening." She'll discuss "Over the
Rainbow," her new children's picture book and 3-song CD set, featuring her version of the great song Judy Garland made famous. Her presentation will
be interspersed with a few a cappella songs.
We'll not only have copies of her new book/CD for sale this night, but also her new full CD, titled "Paradise," which includes her new recording of
"Over the Rainbow" as well as guest performances by Stephen Stills (on Tom Paxton's "Last Thing on My Mind") and Joan Baez (on "Diamonds and Rust").
BTW, I hope some of you joined me at Chatauqua Auditorium on July 10 or at the Arvada Center on July 11 to hear Joan; she sounds as great as ever at
age 69 -- even though, inexplicably, she did NOT sing either "Diamonds and Rust" or "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."
Oh, yeah, and what's the best thing about the Judy Collins event? It's free and open to all; no reservations needed. Just show up!

I will also be playing my Baroke HUSSEIN Obanjo and singing: "Where Have All the Wilted Flower Children Gone?"...
