630 KHOW: Tom, Dick, and Peter... ("Is KOA Killing a Controversy?" merged here)

Colorado GOP chairmain Dick "Dick Wad" Wadhams was forced to call into the anti-Semitic* Peter Boyles show Monday morning after blistering boils err... Boyles' Dick attacks... After Wadhams decried Tom Tancredo's run for Colorado Governor, and offered to face Tancredo in studio to debate, Boyles jacked-off an audio clip that made Wadhams sound like he wanted DemocRAT John Hickenlooper to win the race instead of race-hater-baiter Tancredo... Wadhams was forced to call in a second time to defend his mis-reconstructed remarks...

* Boyles attacked (lied about) Jewish Colorado State House Senator Joyce Foster this morning after the Jewish community gave her an award for her work...

Come on Peter, man up, shave your head and show us that swastika tattoo on the back of your baby-boomer-loser biker head...

Well, I see the numbskulls got together after I went to do my errands this morning...

Colorado GOP's on-air meltdown
By Brad Jones, Face The State
Click here for original article at: facethestate.com

State GOP chairman Dick Wadhams locked horns on air with former congressman Tom Tancredo this morning; Colorado Republicans are worried Tancredo's third-party run for governor will all but ensure Democrat John Hickenlooper's victory.

No, that shouting match you heard earlier this morning between Tom Tancredo and Dick Wadhams on Denver’s KHOW-AM talk radio wasn’t some back-room dust-up, surreptitiously recorded and then leaked to the media by a Democratic Party operative. It was, in fact, a live, three-way interview “moderated” by KHOW’s Peter Boyles - intended for all the world to hear. The ensuing, seemingly unending meltdown - replete with “you are a liar” recriminations - probably has been heard around the world by now. It’s hard to say who seemed more feverish and addled, the state Republican chair or the former Republican congressman who has infuriated his party yet again, this time by announcing he’ll run for governor on the Constitution Party ticket.

Either way, we suspect the state’s GOP brass, bitterly reflecting on what was supposed to be “their” year, took their usual 5 p.m. martinis at about 10 a.m. If nothing else, this surreal episode confirms that - at least in the current election cycle, and at least in Colorado - there is no more “insider” political gossip. Thanks to this morning’s bizarre and apparently unscripted slugfest, any remaining dirty laundry has been aired; all beans have been spilled, all secrets betrayed. In other words, political junkies can quit reading their favorite blogs and get back to their day jobs.

You can listen to the full interview here. It’s pretty clear Tancredo was just being vintage Tancredo, for better or worse, but if you find yourself wondering, “What was Dick Wadhams thinking?” and, maybe, and why didn’t the usually calculating, veteran GOP playmaker just hang up the phone - you’re surely not alone.

Tom Tancredo-Dick Wadhams Interview Alludes To Divisions In GOP
Click here for original article at: huffingtonpost.com

Few expected Peter Boyles's radio show to be a peaceful affair when Republican Party Chair Dick Wadhams and Tom Tancredo appeared together on the program this morning. Last week, Wadhams immediately spoke out forcefully against Tancredo's ultimatum to Republican Gubernatorial candidates. Wadhams had referred to Tancredo's threat to run as a third party candidate as "a joke," and "nothing more than Tom following his own ambition."

As the interview proceeded, however, listeners were made aware of far more chasms in the Colorado Republican Party than just the obvious rift between Tancredo and Wadhams.

After Wadhams opened the segment by backhandedly admonishing Tancredo for not returning his calls last week, Tancredo returned fire by urging state party chair to disclose conversations the two had about the Republican candidates for Governor.

"One of the things I didn't want to do necessarily was bring to light all of the things that you've told me about the candidates we presently have, but if you really want to press this, then let's go to it."

Tancredo then alleged that Wadhams had repeatedly spoke of how he found Republican candidate Scott McInnis to be "untrustworthy" and considered Dan Maes's long-shot gubernatorial bid to be "a joke."

At one point, Tancredo bellowed "You hate the people you've got on the ballot. You hate them both. You don't trust either one."

Wadhams denied ever Tancredo's characterizations of his feelings toward the GOP candidates for governor, but Boyles backed up Tancredo's claims, telling Wadhams "you've said some pretty weird things about those jokers to me, too."

When Tancredo called Wadhams a liar, Wadhams asked incredulously, "the guy who reneged on his term limits pledge is calling me a liar?"

Wadhams was referring to Tancredo's promise to only serve three terms when he was elected to Congress in 1998. He ultimately served 5 terms.

The party chair then mocked the right-wing views that have endeared Tancredo to conservatives. "What's your agenda?" Wadhams asked Tancredo. "What are you going to talk about? Impeach Obama and bomb Mecca?"

The Atlantic suggested on Monday that Tancredo is motivated by a desire to bring down the Colorado Republican party, speculating that he "would throw a victory party if his rogue campaign ended up putting a Democrat in office."

The Republican Party has stated its desire to force Tancredo off the ballot, but has no apparent means of doing so. The party is expected to replace whichever of its two scandal-ridden candidates wins the August 10 primaries with a more viable general election candidate, but Wadhams has been clear he believes the race is a lost cause for Republicans as long as Tancredo remains a third-party candidate.

KOA killing a controversy???

I was browsing the Denver Post online yesterday and I saw a link to a 10 minute piece of audio of the Wadhams vs. Tancredo spat. I didn't have time to listen, so I went online this morning and couldn't find it anywhere.

So I went to the KOA website, and all I could find was a short, poorly produced piece which concludes with Jerry Bell tossing to the wrong soundbite.

What gives? You'd think they would have that audio front and center. I wonder if they instructed the Post to kill the link too?

Now I do concede, that I only spent a few minutes searching and the audio may still be there, but it sure seems like someone doesn't want people to find it.

The interview occurred on KHOW. You can find it in its entirety there. But be warned: the audio doesn't stream. It forces you to download it. So I didn't.

Since Boyles is blatantly acting ass the defacto campaign manager for Tancredo's campaign, is there a way to get the FEC to investigate and give equal time to Dems now??? What about fees and penalties for not reporting the value of the Boyles radio show as a political contribution??? Channel 7, Denver Post, get digging!!!

The most egregious offender -- and potential FEC target -- in this area should be Jon Caldara, who gets plenty of free 50,000-watt air time to campaign against RTD ballot issues while at the same time heading the Independence Institute, which funds those anti-RTD campaigns. If Caldara can't be held to account for this, then I suppose Boyles can't either.

... or it might just be that nobody has ever filed a complaint with the FEC. In the big scheme of things, not as many people actually listen to talk radio as you'd think by reading DenverRadio.Net.

Thanks, had no idea it was on KHOW. Still a little curious as to why it was on the front page of the Post website yesterday, then buried or missing today.

The interview was funny, Wadhams got slapped around pretty good.

I imagine it would be buried because the Post would give today's news precedence over yesterday's news. They'd keep putting the newest stuff on top.

Peter really got undressed this morning by the infamous caller "Marie." She left him extremely unnerved. I don't know if he can ever recover.

Turn the radio on.

Boiled, Peter should of quit when Glenn Beck told him he was nuts on the birther issue...

And Glenn Beck should be taken at his word because...

... the bees "know"...
